Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technician to join our team at Convenient Urgent Care in Houston, TX.

About the Job

As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiography examinations to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This includes preparing patients for exams, obtaining and recording vital signs, explaining procedures, administering IV and contrast when necessary, positioning patients for exams, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring technical quality of images.

You will also enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, and assist with initial and renewal applications for accreditation. Additionally, you will identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.

Requirements
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (preferred)
  • Bilingual/Spanish (preferred)
  • Must have a RT, LMRT, or NCT License or certification from an accredited program (required)
  • Should have a medical assistant certification from an accredited program (preferred not required)
  • CPR Certified (preferred not required)
  • Assists with patient triage, vitals, patient medical history, and insurance verification (required)
Benefits
  • Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
  • A 4-day workweek with 10.5-hour shifts or a 5-day workweek with 8.5-hour shifts
  • Availability to work weekends and float to other locations as needed
