Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient simulation engines for capturing subsystem interdependencies in complex hardware systems
  • Develop powerful, highly interoperable solutions for engineers across multiple industries
  • Optimize server code for speed and conceptualize efficient data storage, access, processing, and visualization
  • Write unit, functional, and integration tests for services and features, as well as adopt new ones to increase maintainability and velocity
  • Document designs, analysis, and test results, and generate presentation materials for internal and external customers
Requirements
  • Familiarity with writing and implementing unit tests
  • Experience modeling dynamic physical systems and learning/ implementing algorithms like Kalman filters and controllers
  • Demonstrated mastery of modeling specific physical systems/engineering applications
  • Experience performing statistical analysis of orbit determination operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field

We offer a competitive salary of $115,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. The location is Washington, D.C., or northern Virginia area, with hybrid remote options available for the right candidate. US Citizen or permanent resident status is required.
