Position Overview:
As a vital member of the executive team, the Chief of Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of the organization's objectives. This position involves overseeing project management, facilitating change initiatives, operationalizing strategic frameworks, and spearheading process enhancements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Manage and synchronize cross-departmental projects and initiatives, promoting alignment and teamwork among various teams.
  • Accountability: Ensure responsibility for critical action items and strategic initiatives, tracking progress and addressing any potential obstacles.
  • Metrics Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to articulate and implement the organization's vision and strategy.
  • Operational Efficiency: Improve operational effectiveness by refining processes, integrating new tools, and enhancing existing workflows.
  • Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO and leadership team, managing communications and updates regarding key projects and priorities.
  • Leadership Meeting Facilitation: Organize and oversee leadership meetings, including setting agendas, following up on action items, and ensuring effective communication across the organization.
  • Strategic Financial Management: Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial planning and reporting to guide financial strategy and decision-making, ensuring optimal financial health and performance.
  • Executive Support: Provide high-level assistance to the CEO on various projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient execution of tasks and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an operational or project management capacity within private equity, consulting, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making, including the analysis of financial metrics to drive strategic financial planning and performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Capacity to think critically and strategically while managing detailed execution.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing multiple projects and competing priorities while achieving results and meeting key objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Preferably located in Central Time Zone, United States.
