About the Role

The Respiratory Practitioner II is a vital part of our patient care team, providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Respiratory Practitioner II.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patient response and notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response.

Requirements

  • NBRC accredited RRT credential or CRT if grandfathered in Current Colorado Respiratory License
  • Current BLS ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC is required PALS is preferred NRP is preferred Graduate of AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapist Program 6 months of previous experience
