Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and refinement of designs, from concept to final product, collaborating with the design team, package team, and factory to ensure quality standards and brand aesthetics.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences, informing product development and recommending new design ideas.
- Support the selection and sourcing of materials, trims, and components, coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Oversee the creation and review of prototypes and samples, providing feedback and recommendations for adjustments to improve product design and functionality.
- Prepare and maintain detailed product specifications, technical drawings, and development documentation, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, tracking progress and communicating updates to the team to ensure development milestones are met.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure the final product meets brand standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in product development or a related role, with internship or relevant coursework considered.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, and Excel), excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for design and quality.
