Logistics Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting items from one location to another in a safe and timely manner.

Estimated Salary: $52,000 per year, based on industry standards and location

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting goods to clients or businesses
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and quality control
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
• Accepting payments for delivered items and maintaining accurate records
• Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional manner
• Maintaining assigned routes and adhering to time schedules, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays
• Maintaining a safe driving record, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Preparing reports and documents related to deliveries, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, and forklifts, ensuring proper use and maintenance

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions
