About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Regional Wellness Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in expanding our Resident Services program in affordable housing communities.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

This non-clinical position focuses on wellness education and connecting residents to supportive services and resources in New Bedford MA and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community nursing, homecare, or related areas, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a senior-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective wellness programs to enhance the quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations to identify and connect residents with necessary resources.
  • Foster relationships with residents, families, and caregivers to provide personalized support and education.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track program progress and resident engagement.
Requirements
  • Current and active RN or LPN License in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in community nursing, homecare, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills, with proficiency in computer software.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency a plus.
