Job Title: Clinician - Outpatient Mental Health Program

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our Outpatient Mental Health Program. As a Clinician, you will work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults to provide comprehensive holistic assessments, develop individual and family-focused treatment plans, and provide individual, group, and family therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive holistic assessments of clients and involve family members as indicated.
  • Develop individual and family-focused treatment plans which are goal-directed and involve family members as indicated.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients.
  • Coordinate treatment with other Center for Family Services and relevant agencies and services.
  • Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
  • Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole, and IDRC on a timely basis.
  • Meet with supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Be familiar with community resources and refer clients as indicated.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled department meetings and attend scheduled administrative/clinical meetings.
  • Takes responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.
  • Participate in Center and Program performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited University.
  • License for independent practice in New Jersey, in good standing, LAC/LPC or LSW/LCSW.
  • 2 years supervised experience in working with mentally ill clients.
