Job Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in raising awareness of our offerings, cultivating community collaborations, and participating in local events to advocate for our cause.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement
  • Act as a representative of The Recovery Center of Tennessee at various community events, health fairs, and other relevant gatherings.
  • Identify and engage in community initiatives and events that align with our mission.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
Outreach and Education
  • Disseminate information regarding our programs and services to community members and potential clients.
  • Facilitate presentations and workshops aimed at educating the public about substance use disorders and available resources.
Partnership Development
  • Forge and sustain partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and other relevant entities.
  • Collaborate with partners to create a comprehensive system of care for individuals dealing with substance use disorders.
Tracking and Reporting
  • Monitor outreach activities and outcomes, including the number of events attended, partnerships formed, and referrals generated.
  • Provide regular updates on outreach efforts and their effectiveness.
Referral Generation
  • Identify opportunities to generate referrals to The Recovery Center of Tennessee.
  • Follow up with individuals and organizations interested in our programs and services.
Qualifications
  • Experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for assisting individuals with substance use disorders and promoting community health.
  • Graphic design skills for digital marketing are a plus but not mandatory.
Compensation

This position is hourly, with a starting rate of $17 per hour.
