About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to fill the role of Director of Membership Engagement. This position will be responsible for cultivating our overall membership operations, membership experience, growth, and retention strategy. As a member of our Executive Management Team, you will report directly to our CEO and be an integral part of our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive membership strategy, including defining the member value proposition and executing member retention and recruitment efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance member benefits and services, and collaborate with other departments to implement new programs and initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations and insights into financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Develop and implement timely member programs, networking events, webinars, and other activities to foster a sense of community.
  • Build and retain relationships with the Kentucky Real Estate Commission.
  • Continuously support and identify business opportunities for the department and the Association.
  • Ensure annual compliance with the NAR Mandatory Core Standards for Associations of Realtors.
  • Oversee all membership tracking and reporting data, including accurate membership records, membership application processing, and membership trend analysis.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the membership department, including member transfers, office changes, and Supra lockbox system.
  • Oversee the annual membership renewal billing and process, and corresponding inquiries.
  • Create and participate in member outreach activities, broker office visits, member events, and other initiatives.
  • Overhaul and oversee the new member orientation process.
  • Identify relevant training, development opportunities, and mentoring for departmental staff.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in association management, project management, membership processing management, sales support, and/or account management operations. You should have a strong track record of providing exceptional service to members, affiliates, and vendors, and be able to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders throughout all organizational channels.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65k-$75k, with discretionary bonus opportunities. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, long and short-term disability insurance, paid vacation time, 13 paid holidays, a professional development budget, and a 401K plan.
