Industrial Maintenance Technician

Factory Motor Parts is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Saint Paul, MN production facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to work a non-traditional schedule, Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 3:00am, with potential for overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct daily PMs and general maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies, including attendance and appearance.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting as needed.
Work Environment:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with machinery and equipment. Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and moving around machinery. Lifting up to 50 lbs. is required on a regular basis, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures is necessary.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous manufacturing or general maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of power and hand tools, as well as equipment such as Drop Packers, Top Sealers, Palletizers, Case Erectors, and Blow Molding machines.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and conveyor systems.
