Job Title: Medical Claims Processor

Handi Medical Supply is seeking a skilled Medical Claims Processor to join our team in Minnesota. As a Medical Claims Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are revenue qualified according to federal, state, and regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.

We offer a competitive salary of $20 - $22 per hour, full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. In-person training (typically 90 days) is required, with a hybrid option available after successful completion of training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that all orders are revenue qualified according to federal, state, and regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensures revenue qualification procedures facilitate smooth operations between the documentation department and all other departments.
  • Ensures that timely follow-up is completed on all work queues, including authorizations, document follow-up, and order processing.
  • Ensures that contact with insurance is completed and documented timely and accurately to ensure eligibility and coverage for items ordered.
  • Ensures that documents logged are accurate and meet the qualifications of the payer.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One-year related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
