Position Overview
RAYUS Radiology is in search of a dedicated Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to enhance their team. This position entails the operation of MRI equipment to generate high-quality diagnostic images for patient assessment. The MRI Specialist is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience by guiding individuals through the imaging process with empathy and professionalism. This full-time role includes a schedule of Monday through Friday, with evening shifts and occasional weekend duties, along with opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-examination screenings for patients
- Provide clear explanations and prepare patients for imaging procedures
- Execute both standard and advanced MRI imaging techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment functionality
- Support departmental operations as needed
- Fulfill additional assigned responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Registered technologist with ARRT certification
- Graduate from an accredited radiography program
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in relevant states
- Current certification in CPR
- Proficient in MRI imaging practices
