Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and identify any potential contraindications
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support and comfort
  • Adjust scan parameters as needed to ensure high-quality images
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
Requirements
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state (if required)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training and experience sufficient to perform MRI procedures independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in imaging specialty
  • Bilingual
