This role is classified as hourly, nonexempt, and at-will, requiring availability for full shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install piping and fittings while considering existing structures (e.g., electrical systems, finishes).
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in pipe and pipeline systems utilizing various techniques.
  • Identify leaks from unidentified sources.
  • Conduct drain cleaning using a range of drain cleaning equipment.
  • Employ an assortment of plumbing tools and machinery (e.g., pipe wrenches, cutters, augers).
  • Interpret technical drawings and building regulations to establish optimal work methods.
  • Evaluate problems and select suitable tools and materials for repairs.
  • Prepare written estimates of work costs for clients.
  • Document services rendered and recommendations by completing relevant forms and reports on an iPad using the Service Titan application.
  • Exhibit respect and empathy when discussing work performed and repair or replacement suggestions with clients.
  • Execute all tasks in alignment with the quality and safety standards of Moore Home Services.
  • Achieve sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Comply with safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant plumbing experience.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental plumbing concepts, water distribution, and waste disposal systems in residential settings.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Capacity to manage a physically demanding workload.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and support various business areas.
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with minimal infractions.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Work is conducted in residential settings (attics, garages, crawl spaces, roofs).
  • Frequent standing, squatting, sitting, and crawling for extended durations.
  • Moderate exposure to physical hazards.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 75 lbs.
