Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Sanitization: Responsible for cleaning and testing medical apparatus in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Emergency Protocols: Responds to urgent callbacks within specified time limits.
- Device Oversight: Manages equipment, addresses troubleshooting needs, and executes minor adjustments.
- Quality Enhancement: Engages in ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
- Patient Diagnostics: Performs echocardiograms adhering to established guidelines and captures essential views for diagnostic evaluations.
- Documentation: Prepares initial reports in the reporting systems before physician assessment.
- Safety Assurance: Guarantees patient safety throughout testing procedures.
- Measurement Recording: Accurately logs necessary measurements.
- Stress Testing: Conducts stress echocardiograms proficiently and promptly acquires post-exercise images.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree
- Mandatory: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Graduate from an accredited echocardiography program with clinical experience
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience as an echo sonographer
- Required: Certification from Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMEDSON), Registry for Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
