Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiograph Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing quality adult cardiac ultrasound exams, including color flow and cardiac Doppler, and assisting with structural heart procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography exams, including transthoracic, exercise stress, pharmacological stress echoes, and transesophageal echoes
  • Submit examinations for cardiologist review and interpretation
  • Assist with structural heart procedures for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) with emphasis and clinical rotation in Adult Echocardiography
  • National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year - Post graduate experience in adult echocardiography, including stress echocardiography (exercise and pharmacological), transthoracic and transesophageal techniques
  • Experience with Definity and Agitated Saline enhanced echocardiography
