Tulane University Staff seeks a highly skilled Financial Business Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive financial analyses and projections to improve operational and financial effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the Assistant Dean to prepare narrative analysis for management, including recommendations, and develop detailed financial models to reduce cycle times for annual budgeting, projections, and reporting.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience are essential.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in a Higher Education setting, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, and 3 years of directly related experience.
