Environmental Geoscientist

Atlas Geosciences NW, a leading environmental consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled environmental geoscientist/scientist/engineer to join our team in a full-time salary position. This role will involve performing and/or overseeing soil, groundwater, and/or soil vapor investigations, assisting with or managing remediation projects, and various research, report writing, and other office tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field. They will also have at least 6 years of direct environmental consulting experience, with a strong background in technical report writing and proficiency in HAZWOPER certification. Additionally, experience with WA UST Site Assessor certification is preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting soil, groundwater, and/or soil vapor investigations
• Assisting with or managing remediation projects
• Performing research and data analysis
• Writing technical reports and other documents
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals
