Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Porter to join our team at Classic Toyota and Mercedes-Benz of Tyler. As a Service Porter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service drive, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner
  • Escort clients to the appropriate member of our team
  • Notify the Assistant Service Manager or Estimator if a client is waiting
  • Keep the service drive free of vehicles and maintain a clean and clear working environment
  • Assist technicians in moving inoperable vehicles and alert the Manager to any damage to clients' vehicles
  • Assist with housekeeping on the service drive and keep it clean and clear of debris
  • Attend department meetings and participate in ongoing training and development
Requirements
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
  • Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, and occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
