We are currently seeking a qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician.
This role offers opportunities for both day and night shifts.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of machinery and mechanical systems that support production. This includes diagnosing mechanical issues and performing basic electrical repairs to maintain and enhance equipment functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily operational tasks.
- Contribute actively as a member of the HAZMAT team.
- Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures promptly.
- Utilize knowledge of workplace hazards and implement necessary safety measures in maintenance tasks.
- Operate lifts and other material handling equipment as required.
- Conduct visual inspections and testing of machinery and equipment.
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment effectively.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- An associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments, as our facility is refrigerated.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in food manufacturing or processing is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands is essential.
- Must work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening and background check.
