Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Manage workflow and scheduling to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with production personnel, coworkers, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform general repairs on the building and grounds, including rooftop filtering and HVAC equipment.
  • Test, check, adjust, and tune production equipment to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and ordering when needed.
  • Provide technical support to production supervisors for process innovation and improvement.
  • Assist in training of new hires and conduct training on any new products/process for all employees within the department.
Requirements:
  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years previous related experience and/or training with proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment both electronically and mechanically required.
  • Knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of PLC operation preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in the complete process of lens creation and/or AR coating process.
