Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the MOPHIMS application, a critical system for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).
Key Responsibilities- Update the hospital discharge surveillance system to incorporate data using ICD-10 codes.
- Revised population-based MICAs to incorporate new race categories.
- Incorporate 2022 county-level study data into the Profiles.
- Enhance graphics and mapping functionalities.
- Implement new indicators.
- Improve system features such as saving queries and extending session time.
- Synchronize MOPHIMS data with CDC-EPHT.
- Expand EPHT content and Functionality.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of development experience with Visual Studio, C#, VB.NET, CSS, HTML 5, Bootstrap, JQuery, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), including Cube and Dimension modeling.
Additionally, the candidate should have at least 1 year of development experience with Esri ArcGIS javascript API for mapping and at least five years of combined development experience within Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and Azure DevOps (ADO).
The candidate must also have at least ten years of development experience with Microsoft.NET Framework, with 3 of those total years utilizing 4.6+.
Education and CertificationsA degree, certification, or other distinction is preferred, but not required.
The candidate should be able to report to the ITSD Project Manager or designee, who will provide consultant staff with sufficient knowledge to perform the work.
