Job Overview:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Grants Management professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant. As a key member of our Grants Management practice, you will work closely with clients to build and enhance their grants management and financial assistance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to establish or enhance grants management processes and procedures across the entire grants lifecycle
  • Help identify and proactively address client needs by presenting potential solutions to challenges or issues
  • Participate in client discussions and meetings
  • Effectively communicate and present information to clients and leadership
  • Develop agendas, meeting materials, and talking points in preparation for meetings
  • Develop high-quality presentations that effectively communicate key objectives and facilitate discussion across multiple stakeholders
  • Develop and ensure quality deliverables
  • Participate in business development activities
  • General project/task management
  • Participate in internal and external grants management-related training, knowledge management, and thought leadership activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years' experience
  • Experience in grants management roles either at a federal agency or consulting firm
  • Thorough understanding of Uniform Guidance – 2 CFR 200, including Single Audit requirements, and its application to different types of financial assistance
  • Ability to quickly understand ongoing processes to develop and implement process improvements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to identify and address client needs
  • Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
