Position Overview:
Certified Medical Assistants play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients.

We provide a Medical Assistant Clinical Ladder to support your professional growth within our interconnected system. Our Medical Assistants are highly valued team members, contributing significantly to our organization.

In collaboration with clinic staff and operations, our MAs have developed a structured approach to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations, ensuring manageable workloads and a clear pathway for professional advancement.

Additionally, we have established one of the pioneering MA Apprenticeship programs in partnership with an accredited local college to educate and prepare future Medical Assistants for success.


This role involves supporting responsibilities and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.

You will promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients in alignment with established care standards, guidelines, and the delegation of medical services as outlined by the State Medical Practice Act.


Your responsibilities may include performing various clinical tasks as directed by an authorized healthcare provider in accordance with our Physician Group Scope of Practice. You may also assist with administrative duties and scheduling of tests and/or patient appointments. Medical Assistants are responsible for accurate documentation and maintenance of medical records.

Furthermore, you will participate in or conduct in-service presentations and seminars to facilitate personal and professional development, demonstrating accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.


Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates for the Certified Medical Assistant position will need the following:

High School diploma required

Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved organization, required

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
