About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Create and maintain process documentation to validate customer and internal requirements.
  • Monitor manufacturing developments and report changes to supervisors and engineers.
  • Determine gauging requirements and collaborate with departments to optimize inspection processes.
  • Assist in designing in-process drawings and tool designs.
  • Review non-conformance documentation and initiate corrective action.
  • Participate in process control, including SPC implementation, training, and data analysis.
  • Work with departments to develop and implement internal audit programs.
  • Review contracts for quality requirements and prepare FAIR packages for customers.
  • Interpret customer specifications and standards.
  • Train company personnel on customer quality specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and train standard SOPs for quality processes.
Requirements
  • A self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 QMS, AS9102 First Article, and AS13000 Standards.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in SPC data gathering and reporting.
  • Experience in MSA evaluations such as Gage R&R.
  • Experience in CMM programming and troubleshooting.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Microsoft 365 experience.
