Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering patient-centered care to individuals and families. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective patient care by using best practices during hand-off communication and when reporting patient care information.
  • Develop and maintain a professional and personable relationship with patients, families, and staff.
  • Recognize and respond to abnormal diagnostic data and report to appropriate providers.
  • Document patient care accurately and completely, adhering to hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  • Participate in the peer review process and demonstrate awareness of performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Alternate shift schedules, including day, evening, nights, and weekends.
