  • Clean and maintain floors, walls, and windows to ensure a clean and healthy environment
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Service and clean restrooms, including restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, and dust surfaces to prevent dust buildup
  • Mix and apply cleaning solutions, and operate power equipment to clean floors and surfaces
  • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs, and assist with special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform repetitive motion for extended periods of time
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work independently or with a partner
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull heavy loads
  • Ability to lift and/or carry 30-50 pounds

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The School Custodian will be required to work in a variety of settings, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms. The position also requires working in a team environment and communicating effectively with staff and students.
