About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Mac Properties. As a Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring a positive experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of leasing offices, models, and common areas
  • Ensure the grounds, including sidewalks, public walkways, and stairways, are well-maintained and free of debris
  • Assist in making vacant apartment homes rent-ready in a timely manner
  • Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas
  • Perform snow clearing and obstruction removal during winter months
  • Complete assigned cleaning requests and repairs consistent with company operating standards
  • Maintain company customer service standards and respond to resident requests
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Previous experience in a janitorial role is a plus but not required
  • Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies
  • Ability to frequently transport up to 50 pounds and access restricted spaces
