We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Senior Community Transportation Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of residents in Mandarin location.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule routine preventative maintenance for vehicles and ensure they are in good working condition.
  2. Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, including interior and exterior.
  3. Assist in gathering residents before and during outings, prioritizing their safety at all times.
  4. Keep accurate records and schedules of individual resident requests.
  5. Calculate group trip costs and forward billing to the Business Office Manager.
  6. Record vehicle mileage and maintain a comprehensive log.
  7. Track gas purchases and submit bills to Director of Maintenance or supervisor as directed.
  8. Maintain the First Aid kit and other essential supplies.
  9. Perform specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by Director of Maintenance and/or Dir. of Life Enrichment.
  10. Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, providing respect and attentiveness to residents and team members.
  11. Ensure all residents and passengers are safely secured in their seats during transportation.
  12. Understand and follow protocols for reporting accidents and incidents to proper authorities when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a passion for working with senior citizens.
  • Be able to perform job duties on a regular and predictable basis.
