Medical Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Cardiology Specialists of North Texas. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals
  • Answer phone calls and screen referrals
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in a patient care setting or active certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Graduation from a Medical Assisting program preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
