Job Description

As a Clinical Business Operations Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our Clinical Business Operations team in various tasks related to clinical trial management, budget development, vendor management, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management & Analysis: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to clinical trial budgets, vendor contracts, and site payments.
  • Budget Support: Help in the preparation and review of clinical trial budgets, and assist in tracking and reconciling actual spend against budgeted costs.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Aid in the management of vendor contracts, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and payments, and support communication with vendors to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy in clinical business operations, and provide recommendations for streamlining workflows and improving data accuracy.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all clinical business operations activities, and support the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment on project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and participate in team meetings and provide input on project updates and process enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record with relevant coursework in finance, data analysis, or project management.
  • Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th, 2025 - August 15th, 2025.
  • This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required.
