Safety Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Washington Metro. As a key member of our Office of Safety Risk Management, you will play a critical role in facilitating our Safety Management System by supporting the Safety Risk Management process.

This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Safety Risk Management process using industry best practices such as MIL-STD-882E System Safety Standard Practice.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, System Safety Engineering, Safety Management, Quality Management, or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in administering safety management programs, quality management programs, or applying safety risk management methodologies.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
