Job Overview

Community Health Plan of Washington is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions using various tools and technologies, including Snowsight, Tableau, Power BI, and Jupyter notebooks.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data warehousing teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across teams.
  • Perform integration testing of BI solutions to identify errors in programming logic and verify compliance with user specifications.
  • Track development life cycle and document solutions using project and document management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Source control BI solutions using Git and remote systems such as Atlassian Bitbucket.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in developing dashboards, analytics, reports, and extracts in a business intelligence environment.
  • Experience in data analytics and/or programming tools such as Snowsight, Tableau, Power BI, Jupyter, and languages (Python, JAVA, SQL).
  • Experience writing and maintaining extract, transform, and load processes (ETL) using tools such as Snowflake Pipelines, Streams, Javascript, and Python.
  • Experience in healthcare industry, managed care health plan preferred.
