About the Role:
The Medical Telemetry Unit is a 31-bed unit that provides care for patients with cardiac, pulmonary, stroke, and dialysis needs. Our team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals work together to provide individualized care to each patient, addressing their unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including medication management, wound care, and respiratory therapy.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including cardiac arrhythmias and blood glucose levels.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 12 months of full-time experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
