Key ResponsibilitiesThe role of Manufacturing Technician involves:
- Preparing polymer resins and modifying materials while ensuring precise data collection.
- Maintaining optimal process conditions and managing necessary documentation.
- Supporting the design and development of new products.
- Offering technical assistance to the Polymer Processing team and Physical Testing Laboratory as required.
- Implementing troubleshooting methods for various resin processing challenges.
- Conducting minor mechanical repairs on laboratory equipment when necessary.
- Operating lab-scale extruders, thermo-formers, and other related machinery.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong customer service orientation, collaboration skills, and effective communication abilities (both written and verbal).
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, along with team leadership experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, coupled with a reliable attendance record and a positive attitude.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with polymer materials and processing techniques.
- A high school diploma, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
