Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing operational and maintenance support of high-pressure boilers, high-purity water systems, and utility systems on a continuous basis to meet plant requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain boiler systems, and all related physical plant equipment, including water and air systems, per SOPs, cGMPs, and user department requirements.
  • Monitor performance through computer controls and reviewing recorded operating data. Resolve issues to ensure continuous operations and communicate status, including failures/corrective actions and readiness to management.
  • Maintain housekeeping services in utilities areas and communicate concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.
