Position Details:
- Employment Type: Per Diem
Unit Overview:
This 20-bed Pediatric/Medical Surgical unit caters to both Pediatric and Adult patients, providing a unique chance to enhance your medical-surgical expertise. You will be responsible for the care of pre and post-operative patients, as well as those with conditions such as pneumonia, asthma, appendicitis, cellulitis, and tonsillitis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rapid assessments and initiate IV therapy
- Perform lung assessments and administer respiratory treatments
- Educate patients and families for discharge
Qualifications:
- Required: In-patient, acute care pediatric RN experience
- Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience
