Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

Responsible for the safe operation of radiographic equipment, patient positioning, and radiation protection. This includes selecting technical factors to produce optimal quality radiographs, tracking patient studies, and acquiring images through PACS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures
  • Use radiation protection devices to minimize exposure
  • Select technical factors for optimal image quality
  • Track patient studies and acquire images through PACS
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program
  • A.R.R.T. registered in Radiology and state licensed in radiology by the LSRT
  • Current BLS certification through an ILCOR-approved course
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patients of all types and ages
  • Strong guest relations skills
Physical Demands:

This role requires good physical health, with the ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required, and moderate noise levels are present in the work environment.
