The Academic Affairs department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach various subjects during the Academic Year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the following areas:

  • English as a Second Language (ESL)
  • American Sign Language
  • Chinese
  • French
  • German
  • Hindi
  • Italian
  • Spanish

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in ESL, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Experience teaching adult learners
  • Subject matter expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Availability to teach in person, particularly during the day
  • Familiarity with learning management systems
  • Experience teaching in higher education
  • Experience teaching in an international setting

Supplemental Information:

Please indicate your availability to teach during the day, evening, or on Saturdays in your application. We are seeking candidates who can teach in person and are willing to work at our college locations. The rate of pay is determined by the collective bargaining agreement.
