Key Responsibilities:


The Nurse Services Manager (RN) will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing Services to enhance nursing operations across existing and newly integrated practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance and support to clinical staff on best practices and operational efficiency.
  • Implementing educational and training initiatives to elevate clinical standards.
  • Engaging in interdisciplinary projects to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and quality standards.

Staff Development:


The ideal candidate will assess staffing needs, patient flow, and current clinical practices. Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development of clinical competency assessments and validation programs.
  • Coordinating employee schedules, including managing leave and overtime.
  • Addressing staffing challenges to maintain optimal patient care.

Qualifications:


The successful candidate will possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program, with a preference for BSN or MSN.
  • A valid RN state license and current registration.
  • A minimum of 5 years of active nursing practice.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Preferred OCN certification and current CPR certification.

Physical Requirements:


The role involves significant computer-based tasks and may require physical activities such as lifting and moving patients, as well as prolonged periods of standing or walking. Candidates should be able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs and possess normal vision and hearing capabilities.
