Job Summary:
The Certified Surgical Technologist will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sterile technique, infection control, and sterilization procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room environment for procedures
- Ensure that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety
- Participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized operating room environment
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care
Requirements:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a surgical setting
- Strong understanding of sterile technique, infection control, and sterilization procedures
