We are seeking a skilled Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at LHC Group in Columbia, Missouri.

About the Role

This is an ongoing opportunity that requires a Physical Therapy Assistant with a passion for providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.

  • As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • You will be responsible for instructing and aiding patients in exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety measures, and prosthetic training.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
  • Hold current CPR certification.
  • Have a reliable vehicle, driver's license, and vehicle insurance.
