We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at IBM Consulting. As a key member of our Cyber Operations Branch, you will play a critical role in supporting the United States Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC) in their mission to protect and defend against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain internal and external networks, ensuring the highest level of security and performance.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address network performance issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in systems administration, network security, or related field.
- IAT Level I certification and DoD Secret clearance required.
- Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office and DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command a plus.
