We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Spacecraft Power System Engineer to join our Space Vehicles team in Arvada, CO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power systems for spacecraft.
Your expertise in power electronics, spacecraft batteries, solar arrays, and fault management will be essential in optimizing the electrical power system for our spacecraft.
You will work closely with our team to develop requirements for power systems components, interface with vendors, and support procurements and technical oversight of subcontractors.
As a Senior Spacecraft Power System Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of our spacecraft power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power systems for spacecraft
- Perform trade studies to optimize the electrical power system
- Exercise detailed technical knowledge of various electrical power equipment
- Develop requirements for power systems components
- Interface with vendors and support procurements and technical oversight of subcontractors
Requirements:
- 7+ years space systems experience
- 3+ years of applicable spacecraft power systems engineering experience
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and test for spacecraft and space systems
- Knowledge of space system grounding architectures and design principles
- Experience with electrical simulation and analysis tools such as PSpice or similar

Salary Range: $95,326.00-$131,685.00 Annually
