KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring a satisfying shopping experience for every visitor.
  • Diagnoses, tunes, and troubleshoots archery equipment to guarantee safety and optimal performance.
  • Installs accessories on bows and provides demonstrations to customers.
  • Addresses specific technical inquiries from customers to enhance their understanding of the products and services offered.
  • Engages in ongoing technical training to enhance skills, quality of work, and product knowledge.
  • Maintains pricing accuracy and inventory integrity, ensuring proper product display and signage.
  • Delivers an outstanding customer experience by assisting with purchasing decisions through:
    • Identifying and assessing customer needs,
    • Making tailored product recommendations,
    • Promoting membership programs and in-store services.
  • Restocks shelves in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
  • Keeps the work area organized, clean, and well-supplied.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Years of experience: 2+ years in bow setup.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to perform bow setups for customers, including draw length adjustments and eye dominance identification.
  • Capable of bow assembly and accessory installation, such as kisser buttons and peep sights.
  • Knowledgeable in arrow setup, including length, spine, and insert installation.
  • Proficient in operating various tools and equipment, including bow presses.
  • Instructs customers on safety protocols, accessory options, and brand features.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • N/A
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regularly stand and/or walk during shifts.
  • Consistently communicate with others to exchange information.
  • Frequently repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasionally operate machinery and power tools.
  • Occasionally navigate ladders, stairs, and ramps.
  • Occasionally work in noisy environments.
  • Light work that includes regularly moving or lifting objects up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier items (team lifting as necessary).
INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:
  • Performs tasks under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and creativity. Makes informed choices to resolve issues and frequently recommends improvements to work processes.
