Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the NICU and newborn nursery, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of newborns and their families.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of newborns and their families, including physical examinations and review of medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and other interventions as needed.
- Provide education and support to new parents, including guidance on newborn care and feeding.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona.
- Current DEA registration.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a NICU or newborn nursery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
