About the Role

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Support Technician to join our team. As a Support Technician in Sterile Processing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and service rooms, remove waste, and perform special projects as assigned.
  • Inventory and restock supplies on the unit, and obtain supplies and rental units.
  • Provide support to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities.
  • Perform various tasks and duties to provide assistance and support in an expanded Support Tech role to the staff in Surgical Services.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
  • One or more years of experience as a Support Technician.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) (SPD exempt).
Preferred Qualifications
  • LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF GEORGIA
