Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Berry Global. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting in-process inspections and implementing quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-process inspections of bottles and other products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate non-conforming product information to shift supervisors and QA managers.
  • Identify and control non-conforming material and conduct backtracking to isolate affected products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Manager.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access database.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read effectively in order to understand packing labels, safety posters, and other forms of written communication.
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice.
  • Must be able to wear PPE, such as hairnets, beard nets, rubber sole shoes, earplugs, and safety glasses.
  • Good visual acuity and ability to read printed material up to 1-hour intervals at a computer screen.
