About the Role

Coupang is seeking a seasoned Search Product Manager to lead the development of our search and discovery experience for a key business category. As a key member of our Search and Discovery Product Team, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our search and discovery experience, driving day-to-day execution towards that vision, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless experiences across the platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the search and discovery product roadmap for a key business category, driving innovation and growth through data-driven decision making and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences, using data and analytics to inform product decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the larger search team to drive seamless experiences across the platform, ensuring a consistent and high-quality search and discovery experience for our customers.
  • Effectively communicate and influence stakeholders, including senior executives, to drive alignment and decision making.
Requirements
  • MBA with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in ML product management, including developing, delivering, and executing on a strong product vision.
  • Experience working on Search and Discovery customer experiences/Ads or equivalent large scale complex ML stack.
  • Analytical thinker who works well in a global, fast-paced, data-driven, cross-functional, and highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture.
  • Bias for action and willingness to get your hands dirty to get the job done.
  • Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others, including executive level reviews.
  • Ability to think strategically and at the same time stay on top of tactical execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Search/Ads ML.
  • Experience in launching and scaling consumer-facing products, with ecommerce experience a definite plus.
  • Experience working with multiple teams across different geographies.

Coupang offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $159,000/year to $324,000/year, depending on location and experience.
